The Complete Health & Wellness Center’s Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurse and Medical Assistants are all employees of Premise Health. Premise Health partners with supervising physicians to provide physician oversight to the Nurse Practitioners, as required by state law. The physicians conduct periodic chart reviews each month and can be consulted on more complex cases if necessary. Meet your care team below!
Nurse Practitioner
Shelly Lynch, APRN, FNP-C
Shelly Lynch is from Kansas City, Kansas and currently lives near Lee’s Summit. She completed her education at the University of Missouri - Kansas City where she earned a Masters in Nursing. Before joining the Complete Health & Wellness Center care team, Shelly worked as an NP with Family Practice of West Central Missouri. She strives to treat the whole person and not just the disease state.
In her spare time, Shelly enjoys being outside, gardening, walking, experimenting with new recipes, reading, decorating, and mostly spending time with her husband and children.
Nurse Practitioner
Lisa Ward, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Lisa Ward obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Missouri Western State University. Throughout her time as a nurse, she worked at a local hospital and school district as a school nurse. She then went on to obtain her Masters in Science in Nursing at Maryville University of St. Louis in St. Louis, MO. She is certified through American Association of Nurse Practitioners with a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This allows her to be able to see patients of all ages. She has had the privilege working in several different practice sites as a Family Nurse Practitioner including retail health, family practice setting and at a local Air Force base taking care of patients and their families. Lisa loves building strong relationships with patients and empowering them with knowledge to help them with their health care journey. She is passionate about using comprehensive health with a team approach using evidence- based care, focusing on prevention and treating the whole person.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and baby, taking their two dogs on walks and being outdoors as much as possible.
Health Center Manager, Registered Nurse
Grace Navickas, RN
Grace Navickas is a Registered Nurse (RN) having graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Previously Grace was a Nursing Assistant at the Healthcare Resort of Leawood and in Saint Luke’s Hospital. She then worked as a float pool RN at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Surgical Care, Progressive Care, Medical Surgical, Emergency Room, Rehab Institute, and Telemetry units. Grace transitioned to Primary Care where she was engaged in phone triage. She is a committee member for the American Cancer Society to assist in coordinating the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Grace is training to be a Wish Granter Volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Medical Assistant
Shelia Gallant, MA
Shelia Gallant is a Medical Assistant from Independence, Missouri. She completed her education at Heritage College where she earned her Associate’s Degree. She began her career in the medical field with Jackson County Neurology. Before joining CareHere, Shelia worked as a Medical Assistant with the Visiting Physicians Association. She strives to treat her patients with the best care possible. Shelia states, “Smiling is the best medicine!” In her spare time, she enjoys music, dancing, makeup, the outdoors and going on nature walks with her dogs.
Medical Assistant
Angie Kent, MA
Angie Kent is a Medical Assistant from Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her education at BYUI where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. With a strong interest in healthcare and community health, she obtained certification from the American Registry of Medical Assistants. Before joining the Complete Health & Wellness Center care team, Angie worked with local hospitals, a local school district, and as a public health specialist with the health departments. She loves working with the community, service, and learning new things.
In her free time, some of Angie’s hobbies include enjoying the outdoors, walking, spending quality time with family & friends, art, music, and traveling.
